TroopFest 2008

Join us as we rock and roll the USS Hornet on Armed Forces Day, with six hours of great classic rock music, featuring The Greg Kihn Band! Guest stars Tony Lindsay, Chris Jackson, and others will join our favorite KFOX Last Band Standing finalists MidLife Vices, Evolution (A Journey Tribute) and The Cocktail Monkeys!

We will be raffling a 12 day cruise on Holland America Line, along with a classic guitar signed by legends of rock! Most bay area sports teams are sponsors, and will be on hand. We will have sponsor and exhibit tables, great food by local vendors, and every ticket purchased includes tours of the USS Hornet!

Iron Construction 2008 Charity Golf Classic
Golf and Support Our Troops!

On Tuesday, September 9, 2008, our friends at Iron Construction will hold their fifth Annual Charity Golf Classic at Cinnabar Hills, to benefit Operation: Care and Comfort (the recipient of funds for the last three years.) In 2007, Iron Construction raised over $58,000 for us, and we are honored to have been chosen as their 2008 recipient!

It was so great to see all 5 branches of the military play in a mini tournament within the tournament, sponsored by companies and individuals who wanted to show their support for our Troops. (The Army team won last year!)

We need players, folks to sponsor military foursomes, holes, raffle prizes, and volunteers.

For more information on how to help, please visit www.ironconsturction.com or Operation: Care and Comfort.

Pictures from last year's event are posted on the Iron Construction web site!
